What's greater than gray? Grey?
But THEN... the internet exploded and the world changed while we were still young and plastic enough to embrace our newfound access to all the information on the planet. The world simultaneously become so small that we could make a human connection with a new friend who lives 3000 miles away and so huge that we suddenly had access to the endless atrocities and tragedies that our local news had insulated us from for most of our lives.
Having our lives straddle two very different worlds gives us a unique perspective and ability to view the shades of grey that other generations seem to struggle to see. We know how great it was to have a sleepover full of shenanigans with a bunch of friends who didn't have cell phones to stare at, but we also know how great it is to stare at our phones and text with our friends and family all day long! I think about people-watching on our Mexico vacations; the "kids" on their phones the whole time and having a full-on panic attack if there is no service and the boomers assuming their phones don't work outside the US and living in fear there will be some sort of roaming fee if they touch the wrong button that will result in them losing their house. And then there is us; we love selfies and social media but we can also casually leave our phone back at the hotel or on the table to focus on soaking in the moments.
This new blog is just for funsies for me to explore those grey areas.
Disclaimer: All people from all generations are individuals with their own opinions, experiences, and idea and these are just mine. Duh.
